Waterproofing – IPER
Transparent facade waterproofing.
Ready to use. Transparent and colourless. Does not affect the colour of the surfaces on which it is applied. High penetration. Does not form a film. Allows walls to breathe. Complete hardening. Treated surfaces do not get dirty. Resistant to alkalis and UV rays. Reduces the formation of efflorescence, the growth of fungi, mould, algae, etc. Reduces damage from water frost, erosion and corrosion of construction elements. Slows the entry of aggressive gases from the air. Prevents further penetration of water, which can dry out the wall due to evaporation of the water it contains.
Applicable only on exterior walls.
Water-repellent impregnation of facades and elements made of concrete, lightweight concrete, cellular concrete, fibre cement, brick walls, cement and lime mortars, etc. Restoration of natural stone buildings, etc.
Impregnation of lime, cement, silicate coatings.
Support: The support must be clean, dry and free of grease, old paint, soot, dust, moss, saltpeter, etc., which must be completely removed by sandblasting or steam. The surface must be dried before applying IPER.
Application: IPER must be applied using a roller, spray gun or any other means, but always from top to bottom, making it necessary for the surface to be saturated with the product. Excessive amounts of IPER can leave surfaces shiny, and therefore it must be distributed evenly.
Small prefabricated parts, for example window frames, etc., can be impregnated by immersing them in IPER.
