Metal Passivating Deoxidizer – REIN
Removes rust from the following metals: copper, lead, brass, iron, steel, aluminum, bronze and cadmium.
Deoxidizer, metal passivator.
Compound based on inorganic acid ingredients, emulsifiers, degreasers and glycols with additives to activate the rust removal process and inhibitors to respect the base metal. Very suitable for cleaning surfaces that require vigorous conditions, when rapid derusting is required, or when the parts are to be subsequently subjected to any type of finish.
NON-FLAMMABLE.
For derusting and degreasing the following metals: copper, lead, brass, iron, steel, aluminum, bronze and cadmium. Not recommended for tinplate, pewter, nickel sheets, chrome metals and galvanized metals.
Mixed with cold or hot water. By spraying or immersion. The thickness of the oxide layer will determine the dilution of the product:
- Large layers: From pure to 50% with water.
- Small layers: Up to three parts water.
The deoxidizing action is enhanced by the time of action and heat (approx. 60 °C). After deoxidizing, a good rinse is necessary to remove the acid residues embedded in the pores, and to protect the metal with our PROTEC product.
